Home Wine Making
Home Winemaking
The smell of grape juices fermenting, the sounds of grape musts popping. If you are
in to home wine making there is nothing like it. Rosati has provided grapes to both
home winemakers and for commercial purposes for over 80 years. Until 1992, the
Rosati area was a part of a co-op that provided grapes for Welch's grape juice. For
many years 4M Farms & Vineyards concord grape juice has won gold medals at the
Missouri State fair. The farm sells concord grapes from August through October in
bulk to the public.
4M Farms & Vineyards is the largest producer of Concord grapes in the State of
Missouri. Grapes are seasonal and ripen during the months of August through
October. If you are interested in purchasing grapes or juice for wine making or for
jams and jellies please contact us to determine when we are harvesting. Some
varieties of grapes other than Concord are available. For first time home wine
makers, our wine shop offers beginning materials on home wine making.
